Student Music - Song Dedicated to the Trees
TREES (sung to the tune of "B-I-N-G-O")I went to the forest in class one day to learn about all the tree T-R-E-E-S, T-R-E-E-S, T-R-E-E-S and they help us to breath I laid down my ten meter transect line surrounded by all the trees * - R-E-E-S, * - R-E-E-S, * - R-E-E-S it's free to see, there are no fees I then found the DBH of all and categorized the trees *-*- E-E-S, *-*-E-E-S, * - * - E -E-S and they're home to many bees Next we recorded all the shrub layer underneath all the trees * - *- * - E-S, * - *- * - E-S, * - *- * - E-S They are so nice to see Then we looked through the ocular lens to find the canopy cover of all the trees * - * - *- * - S, * - *- * - * - S, * - *- * - * - S And they sway in the wind so free Lastly we searched for all the trunk and leaf conditions of each and every tree * -* - * - * - * , * -* - * - * - *, * -* - * - * - * -- Lindsay Jeffers |
